Final session of our third campaign was epic, defeated the bad guy (which was thealyn ... again, this time BORED and causing trouble for the queen of Gilshire) before the last battle THealyn goaded Bowen on his family origins. Now he knew he was a orphaned bastard, but nothing more, so thealyn proceed to educate him on the fact he is actually the Royal Bastard of the King of Aldora, (one of the 3 human kingdoms). And then described the torture his mother went through at the kings hands before throwing her aside... so yeah, dark. pretty dark. let say thats where talks broke down to swordplay.
